Masonic Sourcebook began as an exchange of information on Freemasonry between researchers in the USA and the UK. When asked to do the work of posting these results for use by participants and others, I apparently did not say "no" quickly enough. This site is relatively new, but should soon contain articles from around the world, reflecting the best available research on Free- masons, the early history of the brother- hood, and how current practices, lodges, rites and usages came into being.
Freemasons like to say they do not belong to a secret society, but rather a society with secrets. If you enjoy exploring secrets, you are welcome to participate.
