Brenda and I attended a local production of Mozart's The Magic Flute last night, courtesy of our sons Adam and Tim (combined birthday / Father's Day gift). Very impressive — Better I think than the last production we saw, about twenty years ago.

I couldn't overlook some of the statements in the dialogue which denigrate women. Albeit, Bro. Mozart still had Tamino and Pamina being initiated together, through ordeals of fire and water.
