Mysterious Australia"is one of those unique sites on the Internet that deals with the forgotten history of our continent including Anthropology, Archaeology, Cryptozoology, and Hominology, with an all Australasian Content!" [Rex & Heather Gilroy's site, a charming and sincere couple who are remarkably credulous and imaginative enthusiasts] Rex Gilroy with "skulls"

Yep! Rex is pretty well known in Australia. A small Theosophical group in which I have a role invited him to speak a few years ago. He arrived with his charming wife Heather and they entranced us with their quest: As well as nonsense, they spoke of some plausible stuff (e.g., ancient contacts with seafarers) but with evidence, such as his "skulls," which appeared credible or relevant to few present, if any, other than themselves. Rex in particular has devoted much of his life to such subjects and he and Heather are obviously not in it for the money. They are sincere and the world would be poorer without such enthusiasts; but one needs to be wary of being drawn into their fantasy worlds, by looking squarely and objectively at their evidence and their logic, or lack thereof.
