I have been following this story here and elsewhere for some time. While we can only regret the circumstances, let us hope some good comes of these proceedings. For what it's worth, in Australia certainly and I believe in the US, natural justice and procedural fairness are guaranteed and civil courts can compel groups (private and public) to abide by their own rules. In the case of Freemasonry, it is disgraceful that one needs to seek profane assistance to obtain masonic justice.
