Paul, not the name by which he is more commonly known, an Administrator of that forum has a habit of deleting posts he does not like, no matter how justified. A question I keep asking and he keeps deleting is one Phillip first asked, but it went unanswered, so I have kept asking, to remind readers. It was, "Does your attitude to reason as expressed here extend to your work?" This is a reasonable question as is addresses Paul sincerity and the subject was introduced by Paul in the opening words of the first post of the thread under which the question has been asked, "Decision in the absence of information". He opened the thread saying, "Working in the public service..." so it is fair to ask how deep is the attitude toward reason he expresses on the forum? Is it just a show or does it extend to his work?

He opened the thread saying, "Working in the public service..." so it is fair to ask how deep is the attitude toward reason he expresses on the forum? Is it just a show or does it extend to his work? Members of the public perplexed by many of the decisions and policies arising from the public service, might not be surprised at such an attitude toward reason . Mind you, the term "public service" covers a multitude of positions, high and low, let's hope "Paul" is not entrusted with any matters of consequence.

A question I keep asking and he keeps deleting... The heavy censorship there puts lie to their claim to only be practicing "freedom of expression." I was an active opponent here of the GL edict against esoteric research and practice: My argument was while much of what passes for esotericism is nonsense, the best way to deal with it was to rationally debunk it, thereby exposing it as such. However, over there, debunking posts are more often than not deleted (I had been posting "Woo Alerts" when warranted, most were deleted and now they have even banned the term Woo).

All except one of a half dozen or so posts I made there yesterday have been deleted. None were vulgar

My question about Paul's attitude to reason at work has been posted, unanswered and deleted everyday now for over a week. Now he appears to have deleted the thread itself. I have now asked it on another thread.

So far today, ALL of my four or five posts there have been deleted. None have been vulgar. If Paul does not like his outrageous claims being challenged he would be better off to ban me outright.
"Banned by Paul" that sounds like an honorific if ever I heard one.
The main thing I had to say today was to observe that a common theme on the forum was trying to avoid responsibility for their own thoughts and a desire for someone or something to blame for their own actions and for someone else or something else to do what they should be doing to set things right.
If your interested Paul has again changed his profile, again showing his Email address, revealing his true identity.

I am proud to announce I have been banned from Maat's and Russell Holland's forum of ignorance and superstition. I now call on them to ban themselves.

I reiterate my concern at the forum willfully ignoring (even deleting) facts which debunk much of the nonsense fantasized about there by Freemasons (giants, aliens, unicorns, and more), under the name of Freemasonry. I further note I have not received a straight reply to the question of whether or not the forum is being conducted with the full knowledge and approval of the LDH lodge whose name it bears. Are members of LDH and its Adelaide Lodge No. 406 who may visit here, aware of this forum which uses the Lodge's name and number in its title? Do you approve of that usage?
