Elsewhere the illustration below was posted. It features a woman candidate, in a mixed masonic context, being told to take her obligation on the Kamasutra. When challenged, the excuse was that it was a joke. In what sense is it funny?
Please note, I am not saying that a joke cannot be sexist. What I am saying is that a joke, as such, needs to have an element of humour. Saying, in effect, no more than, "a woman therefore sex," is not a joke neither is it funny. Instead, it is a thinly veiled form of macho posturing.
