Can anyone help me with a quote, for which I am searching:
It involves a poet (one of the nineteenth century romantics, I think) and a female admirer. The woman gushes, words to the effect that she envies him spending his days immersed in verse: To which he replies, words to the effect that most of his time is spent completing mundane practicalities such as toileting, breakfasting, etc., etc.

On a couple of other forums I've seen reference to a comment by a brother to the effect that, 90% of all esoterica is rubbish and saying how important it was to hang on to the other 10%.
Can anyone provide the quote and source?
