I would say they are both flawed. Objectivism holds that reality is that which we precieve, and that our rational faculty as intelligent beings is the basis of our knowledge and our primary means of survival.
(And so saying he proceeds to misspell intelligent and has to correct. ;D)

Disappointingly, Objectivism has received little academic attention. One may read of an inconsistency between Rand's objections to both Totalitarianism and Anarchy but this is not a dilemma unique to Objectivism. That said, we might bear-in-mind that perceptions do not always correspond with reality. Ames Room Illusion
